About The Position
We are seeking a Structural Engineer to support structural design, analysis, and modification activities at a commercial nuclear power plant. This role ensures plant structures and equipment supports meet regulatory requirements and maintain structural integrity to support safe plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analyses and engineering calculations for plant structures and equipment supports
- Develop design packages and engineering evaluations for plant modifications
- Conduct structural walkdowns and support troubleshooting of structural issues
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes and nuclear regulatory standards
- Support plant projects and outage activities involving structural components
