Structural Engineer - Telecom / Wireless
About The Position
Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is seeking a talented and driven Structural Engineer - Telecom / Wireless to join our Towson, MD team. At MRA, no two days are the same. You’ll work on a wide variety of exciting projects - New Build Telecommunication Projects (Monopoles, Self-Supporting Towers, Guyed Towers, Light Poles, Water Tank, Rooftop Sites, Various Stealth Concealment Structures, Silos, etc.), deep foundation and retaining wall designs for residential and commercial projects as well as mid-rise to high-rise concrete structures and multi-family developments. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation, technical excellence, and forward-thinking design.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of wireless telecommunication design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (PE license preferred)
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and RISA
- Solid understanding of structural analysis and design principles
- US citizen or permanent resident (visa sponsorship is not available)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Revit, BIM workflows and 3D structural modeling is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design a variety of telecommunication and mid-to-high rise projects
- Perform structural analysis and modeling using RISA (RISA-3D and related tools)
- Develop construction documents and models using AutoCAD and Revit (BIM)
- Lead or support the preparation of proposals, reports, and design concepts
- Solve complex engineering challenges with efficient, code-compliant solutions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects across Florida
