About The Position

A leading multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, and firm is seeking an experienced Professional Structural Engineer (PE) to join its growing engineering team. The firm is recognized for delivering innovative, high-quality design solutions across a diverse portfolio of commercial, institutional, educational, healthcare, and public-sector projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Structural Engineer who enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, solving complex engineering challenges, and contributing to projects from concept through construction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis or related discipline.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Strong knowledge of: Structural Analysis, Steel Design, Reinforced Concrete Design, Wood Design, Masonry Design, Mechanics of Materials.
  • Ability to prepare and review structural calculations, engineering reports, and construction documents.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Stable employment history with progressive engineering responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with one or more of the following software: Revit, RAM Structural System, RISA, Enercalc.
  • Experience designing commercial and/or institutional buildings.
  • Strong background in structural analysis and building design.
  • Hands-on experience using Revit, RAM Structural System, RISA, and Enercalc.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations for commercial and institutional building projects.
  • Design structural systems utilizing steel, reinforced concrete, wood, and masonry.
  • Prepare structural construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Review and interpret structural calculations, drawings, and design documents.
  • Conduct field observations and construction site inspections involving steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structural systems.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and technically accurate engineering reports.
  • Coordinate with architects, project managers, contractors, owners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to Engineers-in-Training (EITs).
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Support project planning, quality assurance, and successful project delivery.
