Requirements

10+ years of experience in civil or government aerospace industry
5+ years of experience with finite element modeling using FEMAP or Patran
Experience in leading multiple collaborative projects of various scale to implementation
Experience with computer aided design (CAD) tools, Catia, or SolidWorks
Ability to create or complete finite element models using loads data obtained from the original equipment manufacturer or data obtained from structural test fixtures
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering

Nice To Haves

Ability to create CAD designs of aircraft primary or secondary structural assemblies, installations, and detail parts
Top Secret clearance
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering preferred
Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering a plus
