About The Position

Join WSP’s Buildings Structures team in Saskatchewan and play a key role in shaping resilient, safe, and innovative spaces for communities across the region. Based in Regina or Saskatoon, this intermediate-level role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of building projects while continuing to grow your technical expertise within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada.
4+ years of structural engineering experience focused on building projects.
Working knowledge of Canadian building codes and structural design standards.
Experience with structural analysis and design software for buildings.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Nice To Haves

Eligibility for security clearance is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze structural systems for building projects including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
Prepare calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications in support of design development and construction.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated building solutions.
Support project execution from concept through construction, including responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings.
Apply relevant building codes, standards, and best practices to ensure safety, quality, and constructability.
Participate in site visits and condition assessments to support design and construction activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement through knowledge sharing, mentorship, and technical collaboration.
