About The Position

Siemens Digital Industries Software is recruiting interns and co-op students for its Spring 2027 Strategic Student Program. The position supports development and validation of analytical and semi-analytical modeling strategies for structural dynamics and vibro-acoustic applications, with emphasis on complex built-up structures such as multilayer composite and laminate visco-elastic panels and integration with Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) methodologies. The intern will use finite element and boundary element analysis tools to validate methodologies and simulation strategies. Work includes vibro-acoustic modeling, fluid-structure interaction studies, and analysis of acoustic performance metrics such as transmission loss and near-field acoustic prediction. The role provides hands-on experience in structural dynamics, vibro-acoustics, numerical simulation, and engineering software development, and involves collaboration on research and development activities related to finite element modeling, dynamic response analysis, and validation of new simulation approaches. The role is remote within the United States. The position is listed as part-time, temporary, and fixed term. Hourly pay is $18–$50, based on projected graduation year and other factors. Interns are eligible to contribute to Siemens’ 401(k) program.
