About The Position

The Structural Design Co-Op provides hands-on experience supporting business initiatives and meaningful projects while developing technical and professional skills. The co-op works closely with the Structural Design team and assists with the design production of structural packaging and point-of-purchase displays. The position is on-site in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., from January 4, 2027, through July 2, 2027.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Packaging Design or a related field.
• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education at the time of employment, as required for internship and co-op positions.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe software programs, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Basic knowledge of Artios CAD and CAPE software.
• Self-starter willing to take on tasks that support the Design staff.
• Dependable and reliable, with strong attention to detail.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Available to work on-site in Lyndhurst, NJ, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the stated co-op dates.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Kongsberg Cutting Table to make samples of corrugated display components.
• Mount printed sheets to corrugated material for display mock-ups.
• Assemble and build point-of-purchase display samples.
• Photograph displays and prepare them for presentation using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Create display assembly instructions in Adobe Illustrator and organize digital photographs.
• Use Artios CAD to retrieve existing display components, modify or design components, and generate specification packages.
• Take on other tasks to support the Design staff.
