Structural CAD Drafter (1-3 years)
About The Position
Coffman Engineers is seeking a Structural CAD Drafter to join their team in the Denver Office. This role involves applying engineering and drafting skills to develop design packages for a variety of projects. Responsibilities include creating detailed structural drawings and project documents in collaboration with engineers and other design team members, ensuring conformance with project specifications, client CAD standards, scope of work, design parameters, codes, and industry practices. The focus is on maintaining high quality and on-time delivery of drafting and design assignments.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in drafting and design, with at least some experience in the structural discipline.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in CAD, layout, and BIM.
- Design software proficiency with recent release(s) of AutoCAD and Revit.
- Additional computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and BlueBeam.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with various project teams, prioritizing and organizing tasks as needed.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Certificate from a CAD training program or a Technical/Associates degree in engineering or related field.
