About The Position

A civil engineering firm with multiple locations is seeking a Structural/Bridge Project Manager for their Jefferson City office. This role is a team member of the Structural/Bridge Design Group and involves managing projects by directing design, coordinating work between staff and the design team, and creating scope and budgets. The position also includes analyzing and designing bridges, culverts, foundations, and other transportation-related and building structures. The Project Manager will serve as the main contact for clients, contractors, and local officials, and will be responsible for preparing engineering project proposals. The ability to work in a team environment is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
• 8+ years of bridge design experience
• Registered PE
• Registered IL Structural Engineer
• Project Management experience with DOT clients
• Experience leading projects through collaboration with team and managing tasks
• Proficient in MicroStation/ORD platforms and structural analysis/design software
• Knowledge of bridge construction materials including Steel, Cast-in-Place Concrete, Precast Prestressed Concrete
• Knowledge of construction methods, structural inspections, and construction document preparation
• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineer preferred
