About The Position

A civil engineering firm with multiple locations is seeking a Structural/Bridge Project Manager to join their Structural/Bridge Design Group in their St. Louis office. This role involves managing projects by directing design, coordinating work among the staff and design team, and creating scopes and budgets. The position requires analyzing and designing bridges, culverts, foundations, and other transportation-related and building structures. The Project Manager will serve as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and local officials, and will be responsible for preparing engineering project proposals. The ability to work effectively in a team environment is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
• 8+ years of bridge design experience
• Registered PE
• Registered IL Structural Engineer
• Project Management experience with DOT clients
• Experience leading projects through collaboration with team and managing tasks
• Proficient in MicroStation/ORD platforms and structural analysis/design software
• Knowledge of bridge construction materials including Steel, Cast-in-Place Concrete, Precast Prestressed Concrete
• Knowledge of construction methods, structural inspections, and construction document preparation
• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineer preferred
