About The Position
This role involves applying knowledge of structural analysis, including materials technology, finite element modeling, static analysis, fatigue analysis, damage tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, vibration analysis, and structural testing. The engineer will determine structural adequacy to meet customer requirements and regulatory compliance, and will collaborate on structural design, manufacturing, and post-delivery of products.
Requirements
- BS degree with 5-8 years of experience
- MS degree with 3-6 years of experience
- PhD or JD degree with 0-3 years of experience
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of structural analysis (e.g., materials technology, finite element Modeling, static analysis, fatigue analysis, damage tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, vibration analysis, structural testing, etc.) to determine structural adequacy for customer requirements and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate on structural design, manufacturing, and post-delivery of products
