As a Structural Analysis Engineer Intern at BPMI, you will perform routine technical functions to execute the BPMI mission in areas including, but not limited to performing a wide range of engineering tasks related to the analysis, design, and evaluation of structural components and systems, ensuring compliance with NR program and safety standards. This role involves utilizing engineering tools and methods to assess structural integrity and generate technical reports. The engineer works closely with various teams to integrate engineering solutions into broader program goals, while providing technical support for field operations. This opportunity will begin Summer 2027, working a full-time schedule (40 hours/week). Please note, this is not a remote position. You will be expected to come into the office for this opportunity. Our internship will give you the opportunity to work in your field of study while simultaneously pursuing your bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university. These opportunities can enhance your academic training while teaching critical business skills and allowing you to learn about BPMI, the Navy, and the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
