About The Position

Join a high-impact structural engineering team dedicated to resolving critical structural issues on commercial aircraft during the production process. As a Structural Analysis Engineer 4 – Stress Liaison/MRB, you will play a pivotal role in keeping aircraft assembly lines running smoothly by evaluating, substantiating, and resolving structural non-conformances with minimal ramp-up time. This is a hands-on, factory-floor role designed for specialists who thrive in fast-paced manufacturing environments and are ready to make key disposition decisions from day one.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in Stress Analysis for aircraft structures
  • Demonstrated Stress Liaison Engineering and MRB Stress Engineering experience
  • Direct background in evaluating structural non-conformances and substantiating repairs
  • Hands-on damage assessment and support for production/manufacturing environments
  • Strong ability to make autonomous structural disposition decisions in a live factory setting
  • Effective collaboration skills with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Engineering teams

Nice To Haves

  • Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) program experience
  • Previous titles such as Stress Liaison Engineer, MRB Stress Engineer, or Repair Stress Analyst
  • Extensive repair substantiation on commercial aircraft programs

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze structural non-conformances on in-production aircraft
  • Develop, approve, and substantiate repair and rework solutions for damaged or out-of-tolerance parts
  • Assess and support Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Liaison Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams
  • Investigate root causes of structural failures and implement corrective actions
  • Provide immediate technical support to resolve production and manufacturing issues
  • Document and communicate engineering solutions clearly and efficiently
