About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a music educator to teach private lessons and inspire students. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of different ages and skill levels. The role includes communicating with students and parents about goals and progress, coordinating with store teams on lesson scheduling and student retention, and sharing musical expertise to foster student growth. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degrees (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8+ years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments: banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
