About The Position

This job is responsible for building, consolidating and reporting stress testing results for Enterprise Stress Testing management. Key responsibilities include performing complex analysis related to earnings, balance sheet, capital, liquidity as well as associated risk exposure, and providing analytical support for explaining business/forecast strategies in the context of baseline and stress forecast. Job expectations include reviewing and analyzing trends in stress testing results to understand implications, challenges assumptions/results and communicates effectively with business partners. This role is on the Global Recovery and Resolution Planning team (“GRRP”) team within the broader Enterprise Scenario Planning and Execution function. GRRP coordinates the Company’s recovery and resolution planning processes globally by collaborating with all lines of business and control functions to monitor and test the Company’s RRP capabilities and act as a review and challenge function for regulatory submissions. The Stress Testing Consultant will help support key aspects of the end-to-end GRRP process across recovery and resolution plan submissions, regulatory inquiries, LOB-specific liaison coverage, and other project-based deliverables. This will include leading presentations, coordinating timelines and deliverables, and conveying the team's expectations of FLUs / CFs in GRRP's processes. The ideal candidate must be able to handle multiple priorities and meet urgent deadlines as necessary. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a preference for experience in enterprise functions such as Treasury, Finance, Risk, or Operations
  • Motivated self-starter with excellent written/verbal and critical thinking skills. There is no repeatable daily tasking in this role
  • Willingness to work cross-functionally on a wide range of deliverables depending on business need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with Recovery and/or Resolution planning
  • Ideal educational backgrounds include liberal arts education in a related field such as economics, political science, finance, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and provides analysis for stress testing reporting
  • Assess trends and provides key data to leaders

  • Complies results and delivers to leaders to support overall strategy for stress testing
  • Support GRRP team efforts to coordinate complex regulatory deliverables, including plan documents, data templates, meeting materials, and responses to regulatory requests
  • Partner with Front Line Units and Control Functions to prepare content for regulatory submissions
  • Support preparation of materials for senior management and Board-level committees
  • Support with drafting executive summaries for recovery and resolution submissions
  • Support with all aspects of governance and reporting routines
  • Identify improvements for team processes and controls, including Operational Excellence
