About The Position

This job is responsible for building, consolidating and reporting stress testing results for Enterprise Stress Testing management. Key responsibilities include performing complex analysis related to earnings, balance sheet, capital, liquidity as well as associated risk exposure, and providing analytical support for explaining business/forecast strategies in the context of baseline and stress forecast. Job expectations include reviewing and analyzing trends in stress testing results to understand implications, challenges assumptions/results and communicates effectively with business partners. The Stress Testing Consultant supports the ESPE Analyst team through both strategic initiatives and the end-to-end stress testing process. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain enterprise-wide exposure to the company's businesses, financial drivers, and risk profile while partnering with leaders across Risk, Finance, Treasury, and the lines of business. The successful candidate will contribute to the review, challenge, analysis, and reporting of stress testing results, support regulatory and governance initiatives, and help drive continuous improvement across the stress testing framework.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in banking, finance, accounting, risk management, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills, Word and PowerPoint proficiency, and coding experience
  • Strong analytical, investigative problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Undergraduate degree (Bachelor's Degree) with quantitative focus; finance, business, accounting, mathematics, computer science, econometrics or equivalent work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with financial regulatory environment (Capital, Liquidity, IRR)
  • Prior corporate finance, stress testing or economic forecasting/research experience
  • MBA/CFA a plus

Responsibilities

  • Builds and provides analysis for stress testing reporting
  • Assess trends and provides key data to leaders
  • Conducts complex reviews of earning, balance sheet, capital and liquidity
  • Complies results and delivers to leaders to support overall strategy for stress testing
  • Perform review and challenge activities for assigned forecasting workstreams, including the assessment of forecast results, key assumptions, model enhancements, and evolving regulatory expectations.
  • Analyze stress testing results to identify trends, emerging risks, and implications for the firm's financial performance and risk profile.
  • Develop strong partnerships with business and risk stakeholders to understand forecasting methodologies, provide effective challenge, and ensure alignment with expectations and deliverables.
  • Contribute to end-to-end review and challenge documentation and governance processes across assigned workstreams.
  • Support the execution of regulatory commitments and continuous improvement efforts, including responses to supervisory feedback and Matters Requiring Attention (MRAs).
  • Enhance ESPE documentation, data transparency, and understanding of key forecasting inputs, methodologies, and assumptions.
  • Assist in the development of management reporting and presentations for senior leadership and governance committees.
  • Perform ad-hoc quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the quarterly stress testing cycle, including earnings, balance sheet, capital, liquidity, and associated risk exposures.
  • Support strategic initiatives that enhance the enterprise stress testing and governance framework.
