This role involves providing instruction and supervision for strength and conditioning activities, designing and implementing programs for athletes, and assisting in the management of the Harold Alfond Forum strength and conditioning facility. The coach will also be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising facility staff, ensuring adherence to NCAA rules and University policies, and developing professional relationships within the Athletics Department. Collaboration with the Director of Strength and Conditioning and head coaches is key for program development, utilizing scientific principles and researched-based techniques for performance enhancement and injury prevention. The position requires teaching student-athletes about various aspects of training and recovery, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and potentially serving on department and University committees.
