About The Position

The City of Nacogdoches is seeking a qualified and experienced Streets Supervisor to oversee daily operations and personnel in the Streets Division. The supervisor directs crews in constructing, repairing, and maintaining city streets, sidewalks, drainage systems, parking lots, and rights-of-way.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, supplemented by specialized training in street maintenance or a related field.
• Four years of street maintenance experience, including two years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Valid Texas driver's license and a Class B CDL, or the ability to obtain one within six months.

Nice To Haves

• Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct daily operations, construction, and repairs of city infrastructure.
• Supervise, schedule, evaluate, and train division staff and crews.
• Manage work orders, track project timelines, and ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Assist with division budget monitoring, equipment purchasing, and safety compliance.
