About The Position

The Street Cleaner I inspects work areas to determine the type of work required and the materials and equipment to be used. This role directs community service workers in projects such as picking up litter, painting/cleaning graffiti, and other group projects as directed by the Supervisor/Manager. The position involves interpreting company policies and safety regulations to workers, interpreting job orders, and assigning duties. It also requires establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet production schedules, assisting workers in solving work problems, and motivating workers to achieve work goals. The role is responsible for maintaining time and production records, working the assigned schedule, and complying with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy. Maintaining all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements without interruption is also a requirement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas Class C driver's license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Previous related experience or training preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
