About The Position
We are seeking a charismatic and energetic individual to serve as the on-camera host for our live shows on Whatnot and TikTok. This role is the face and voice of the brand during every broadcast, responsible for engaging the audience, showcasing products, and driving sales in real time. The ideal candidate is a natural performer who thrives in front of a camera, builds instant rapport with viewers, and can keep energy high throughout multi-hour live shows.
Requirements
- Prior sales experience required
- Charismatic, outgoing personality with strong on-camera presence
- High energy and enthusiasm that translates well on camera
- Ability to stand for long periods of time during live shows
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Comfortable performing in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to take direction during live shows
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with live streaming platforms (Whatnot preferred) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of TikTok is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
Responsibilities
- Host and present items live on-camera during live shows on Whatnot and TikTok, keeping the energy high and the audience engaged
- Actively sell products by highlighting features, benefits, and value to drive bids and purchases
- Build rapport with viewers, respond to comments, and create an engaging, interactive shopping experience
- Work closely with the Warehouse Coordinator to keep the show organized and moving through lots efficiently
- Maintain accurate knowledge of products, pricing, and promotions being featured in each show
- Stand and remain on-camera for extended periods throughout each live show
- Adapt presentation style to different products, audiences, and platforms
- Communicate any show issues, customer feedback, or inventory concerns to the team promptly
- Cross-train and support other departments as needed during periods when no live shows are scheduled
- Willing to learn and adapt to new and emerging platforms to support business growth and engagement
