About The Position

National Beef is seeking college students interested in exploring a career in Strategy Management to join its summer 2027 internship program. Interns work on projects addressing real business needs, learn about the company’s culture and practices, and gain an understanding of department functions and how Strategy integrates with the broader organization. The internship concludes with a presentation to the Corporate Strategy Management Team and key department heads. This is a paid, in-person, hands-on internship based at National Beef’s corporate office in Kansas City, Missouri, with the possibility of spending time at production facilities. The program lasts 10–12 weeks and includes a housing allowance where required. Interns work collaboratively with the team and have networking opportunities with senior leadership.

Requirements

Be enrolled in an accredited college degree program and have completed at least two years of study in Animal Science, Agricultural Business, Business, or a related field.
Be classified as a senior for the 2026–27 academic year.
Have a 3.0 GPA in core curriculum classes.
Demonstrate leadership abilities and on-campus involvement.
Have strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Be able to work independently and be self-directed on project work.
Be proficient with Microsoft products.
Be available to work 40 hours per week on-site for the duration of the internship.
Be at least 18 years old.
Be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities
