About The Position

Project manager to lead internal company process improvements, governance of strategy, implementation of cross-functional goals for the overall company operations efficiency and optimization. In this role, you will oversee, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, synthesize, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for highly complex strategy-related projects, initiatives and change driven activities (ex. Big Rocks) to execute in accordance with project management Millennium Space Systems standards. Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests. Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case. Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules. Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders. Oversees deployment of approved recommendations for Millennium Space Systems. This position's internal job is Project Management Specialist. Our team is currently hiring for a Level 4-5.

Requirements

1 year of project management experience as the leader, or equivalent role demonstrating ability to achieve desired outcomes on projects, on-time and within budget. Ability to define the project, design and plan the project, and manage the project team. Ability to control and deliver project deliverables, project accounting, and optimize the contribution of the people involved
1 year of project execution as the individual contributor or project lead
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. clearance Post Start is required

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Organize, plan, and lead the execution of strategy related projects by managing cross-functional teams to realize improvements in company operations
Decompose and synthesis broad strategic concepts, ideas, and company goals into specific actionable step-by-step plans tailored to specific operations and business functions across the company
Create, collect, report, and trend metrics for operational efficiency of strategy implementation for specific functions
Be the primary strategy feedback collector to inform strategy tailoring, updates, and evolution to better connect strategy to each individual’s daily work
