As a Strategy & Planning Specialist Senior within PNC's Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. This role resides within PNC’s Continuous Improvement Program (CIP). CIP is responsible for ensuring that PNC’s annually published efficiency target is achieved and helps repurpose expenses to higher-priority needs across the organization. The team partners with all lines of business and regularly engages senior leaders to identify, size, and execute efficiency opportunities. This role supports enterprise-wide efficiency work, including capacity and process assessment (CAPA) engagements. We will train the candidate as needed to help with the following: •Define, map, and understand key business processes •Identify the data elements required for capacity planning •Determine the best data sources and collection methods based on availability and quality •Build and maintain resource calculators and supporting models in Microsoft Excel •Interpret results, assess capacity constraints, and develop recommendations •Transition tools and recommendations to business owners and monitor outcomes. The candidate will initially primarily support targeted efficiency efforts as necessary while learning and gaining comfort with the work of CIP. Defines and obtains data collection, research and reporting activities for assigned initiatives. Analyzes and recommends solutions for key initiatives. Works with more senior team members to develop and deliver presentations. Collaborates with the line of business and/or multiple line of businesses to implement recommended solutions.
