About The Position

Alchemi is hiring a Strategy & Operations Lead to work directly with leadership on key challenges as the company scales. The role turns company priorities into plans and execution, supports effective operations during rapid growth, and leads work across commercial, delivery, and product. The position is based in New York City.

Alchemi builds AI for drug development teams and supports more than 3,500 studies a year for leading pharmaceutical development teams. The company describes itself as a small team of experts that works closely across the product, from initial idea through deployment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to regulated workflows affecting how quickly drugs reach patients, help shape product direction and company operations, and develop in a cutting-edge field.

Requirements

• Experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or a strategy and operations role at a high-growth company.
• Strong analytical skills and clear, structured writing.
• A track record of getting things done across teams without formal authority.
• Comfort with ambiguity and with being an early hire without a finished playbook.

Responsibilities

• Drive company planning, goal-setting, and the operating cadence that keeps teams aligned.
• Lead high-priority strategic projects from scoping through execution.
• Build reporting and analysis that leadership uses to make decisions.
• Design and improve how teams work across commercial, delivery, and product.
• Own special projects across hiring, partnerships, pricing, and expansion.
