Strategy Manager, Property & Casualty Insurance

AccentureToronto, ON
CA$125,950 - CA$236,000Hybrid

About The Position

Canada's P&C insurance industry is at an inflection point. Climate volatility, shifting customer expectations, advances in AI, and pressure on combined ratios are forcing carriers and brokers to rethink how they operate and compete. Accenture sits at the centre of this reinvention, and we are growing the team that helps our clients navigate it. We are looking for a Manager to join our P&C practice. This is a delivery-anchored role with a meaningful contribution to growth: you will lead both strategic initiatives and workstreams on complex transformation programs, shape our points of view on the future of the industry, and support senior leaders in originating and shaping new opportunities with Canada's top carriers, brokers, and MGAs. You will work alongside experienced executives who will sponsor your development, but you will be expected to operate with a high degree of ownership from day one. You will work on the most consequential transformations in Canadian P&C, with access to global insurance expertise, leading technology partnerships, and the full breadth of Accenture's capabilities across strategy, technology, data and AI, and operations. You will build a public profile through our thought leadership platform and have a clear path to Senior Manager and beyond.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of consulting experience, ideally with meaningful exposure to financial services or insurance clients.
  • Top-tier strategy, management, or Big Four consulting backgrounds preferred.
  • Direct P&C industry knowledge, whether gained through consulting engagements, time in industry (carrier, broker, MGA, reinsurer), or a combination.
  • Strong executor. You consistently deliver high-quality work on time, manage ambiguity well, and raise the bar for the team around you.
  • Sharp analyst. You structure problems cleanly, work fluently with quantitative and qualitative data, and turn analysis into recommendations executives can act on.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator. You can draft a board-ready deck, a concise executive memo, or a published point of view.
  • Comfort with digital, data, and AI topics as they apply to insurance. You understand and can recommend how these capabilities reshape carrier and broker operations.
  • A University Degree is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workstreams or small teams on P&C engagements spanning strategy and operating model design, customer and distribution transformation, and digital, data, and AI initiatives.
  • Own the quality of analysis, client materials, and outcomes for your area.
  • Serve as a credible voice on P&C dynamics, including pricing and underwriting pressures, claims economics, distribution shifts, regulatory change, climate risk, and the evolving role of AI across the value chain.
  • Translate industry depth into pragmatic recommendations clients can act on.
  • Co-author points of view on where the Canadian P&C market is heading and what carriers and brokers should do about it.
  • Contribute original analysis, structured thinking, and distinct perspectives.
  • Help senior leaders identify, shape, and sell new work.
  • Contribute to proposals, client conversations, and pursuit materials.
  • Build relationships with client stakeholders that lead to follow-on opportunities.
  • Coach analysts and consultants on the team.
  • Set the standard for analytical rigour, client presence, and craft.
