This role shapes how we compete and win in a world where uptime, resilience, electrification, and digitalization define customer expectations. You will bring deep strategic insight, strong cross-functional influence, and a forward-looking perspective to ensure our portfolio anticipates shifts in data center architectures, mission-critical infrastructure needs, regulatory pressures, and emerging technologies such as AI-driven workloads. Success in this role directly accelerates profitable growth, strengthens our position in critical infrastructure, and elevates our relevance with hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and essential-services customers.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience across product management, solutions management, strategy, engineering, or product marketing with a focus on data centers, critical infrastructure, or electrical distribution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s strongly preferred).
  • Deep understanding of data center power distribution, critical protection systems, redundancy schemes, and digital monitoring platforms.
  • End-to-end understanding of low- and medium-voltage products used in mission-critical environments (switchgear, UPS interfaces, busway, breakers, automatic transfer switches, intelligent power monitoring).
  • Strong knowledge of communication, sensing, and control topologies used in data center electrical systems.
  • Experience working with consulting engineers, hyperscalers, EPCs, integrators, and critical facility operators.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence globally (US, Canada, Mexico and broader regions).
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills including Executive-level presentations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep market, regulatory, and competitive analyses across the global data center and mission-critical segments.
  • Engage directly with hyperscalers, colocation providers, enterprise operators, consulting engineers, and critical-facility stakeholders to understand evolving applications (AI, Edge, hybrid cloud).
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies that influence portfolio evolution and commercial priorities.
  • Define segment-specific architectures, applications, and differentiated value propositions for data center power distribution, critical protection, digital monitoring, and sustainability solutions.
  • Reimagine the innovation roadmap to support emerging needs such as high-density power, redundancy architectures, energy management, sustainability certifications, thermal management interactions, and digital twin applications.
  • Drive alignment across offers and platforms to ensure a unified strategy for mission-critical segments.
  • Partner with Leagues, Engineering, Innovation, Commercial, Segment, and Channel leaders to drive end-to-end alignment across critical applications.
  • Mobilize teams across divisions to increase synergy for cross-portfolio initiatives such as data center electrical architectures, integrated digital ecosystems, and standardized global platforms.
  • Champion strong collaboration across hubs, regions, and strategic accounts.
  • Evaluate and optimize GTM channels specific to data center and mission-critical customers, including E-OEM, Cooling OEM, consulting engineers, EPCs, integrators, and global account teams.
  • Conduct market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and standards/codes analysis (e.g., Uptime Institute, NFPA 70, IEC, IEEE).
  • Translate insights into actionable commercial strategies for rapid and differentiated market penetration.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships, alliances, and M&A opportunities related to data center ecosystems (digital monitoring, microgrids, thermal, power quality, AI infrastructure, and resiliency technologies).
  • Facilitate investment case building and support decision-making on emerging growth areas.
  • Contribute to strategic deep dives, Board-level materials, and broader corporate strategy initiatives related to electrification, digitalization, and resiliency in critical applications.
