About The Position

The Strategy Implementation Manager is part of SAIC’s Corporate Strategy team and translates enterprise-level strategic imperatives into coordinated, actionable work across the company. The role bridges high-level corporate strategy and practical implementation by partnering with functional and Business Group executives to work through tactical details, build consensus, identify operational gaps, and close them. The position focuses on concrete outcomes and exercises leadership through executive alignment and collaboration with business teams rather than through management of a large project team. The role may be performed remotely within the United States for the right candidate. The successful candidate brings experience at the intersection of strategy and execution, such as strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a comparable strategy or operations role. They are expected to structure ambiguous problems, develop high-impact deliverables, and drive execution through influence rather than direct authority.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a comparable strategy/operations role, including direct collaboration with senior executives.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Ability to operate as a senior individual contributor and drive significant scope without a large team.
  • Track record of influencing and partnering with SVP- and EVP-level functional and business unit leaders without direct authority over their teams.
  • Strong analytical and structuring skills, including the ability to bring clarity and sequencing to ambiguous, competing priorities.
  • Ability to facilitate decisive outcomes with C-suite leadership and exceptional executive communication skills, including concise, actionable writing and visually compelling presentations for senior leadership and Board audiences.
  • Comfort holding accountability for follow-through and decision documentation without owning day-to-day task management.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or other advanced education.
  • Experience in the aerospace, defense, or government services ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the VP of Corporate Strategy to scope and lead cross-functional and cross-market strategic planning or internal consulting engagements.
  • Coordinate development of strategic imperatives, critical success factors, frameworks, and the enterprise strategy implementation architecture.
  • Partner with functional and Business Group leaders to translate executive leadership direction into specific execution actions, assess organizational gaps and white space, and coordinate external vendor support when required.
  • Manage and rationalize cross-functional dependencies and hold the line on synergy realization.
  • Design implementation architecture, including evaluation, prioritization, sequencing, decision forums, escalation pathways, and outcome tracking; structure competing priorities and dependencies by balancing capacity, risk, feasibility, timing, and enterprise fit.
  • Lead or co-lead quarterly and/or monthly reviews with the VP of Corporate Strategy, ensuring decisions are documented, assigned clear ownership, and followed through.
  • Ensure consistent stewardship of Enterprise Strategy messaging across implementation initiatives, employee touchpoints, and change management communications.
