About The Position

Reporting to the EVP Global Technology Operations, the Execution Strategy & Operational Delivery Leader will lead a team and implement strategic plans with discipline, transparency, and speed, ensuring end-to-end portfolio delivery across enterprise infrastructure platforms. This role partners with technology, engineering, architecture, and business leaders to translate strategy into executable roadmaps while leading complex environments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technology delivery, infrastructure, or platform engineering
  • 5+ years in senior leadership roles
  • Experience leading large, infrastructure portfolios in enterprise environments
  • Experience aligning execution strategy with enterprise technology transformation projects
  • Compute, storage, and network infrastructure
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Craft, executive‑level presentations and written materials.
  • Experience with back‑end systems and infrastructure platforms, including: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Compute, storage, and network infrastructure, Middleware, databases, and integration platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and observability, Security, resiliency, and disaster recovery concepts
  • Manage complex, technical plans, partnering with engineering and architecture teams.
  • Craft, executive‑level presentations and written materials.
  • Translate complex technical concepts and jargon into clear, business‑friendly language.
  • Connect technical deliverables to value and clear value propositions.
  • Expertise in simplifying complex messages, building compelling narratives, and delivering impactful storytelling.
  • Experience leading in high‑scale, high‑ambiguity environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery models at scale.
  • Background in platform transformation, cloud modernization, or infrastructure simplification plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead portfolio planning, execution, and delivery across multiple infrastructure and platform plans (cloud, network, compute, storage, middleware, DevOps, observability, and security).
  • Establish and bring execution strategy, delivery frameworks, and operating rhythms to ensure predictability, quality, and value realization.
  • Manage portfolio‑level delivery commitments, milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
  • Translate enterprise and technology strategy into applicable execution plans and roadmaps.
  • Define and improve delivery governance, metrics, and decision frameworks.
  • Improve understanding between infrastructure delivery, application teams, and partners.
  • Provide understanding of back‑end systems and infrastructure platforms, and manage complex, technical delivery efforts across infrastructure and platform domains.
  • Partner with architecture and engineering leaders to validate delivery feasibility, technical dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions meet standards for resilience, scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Create high‑quality, executive‑ready slide decks, narratives, dashboards, and briefing materials for senior leadership, executive committees, and board‑level audiences.
  • Distill complex technical and delivery information into compelling stories that support decision‑making.
  • Present portfolio health, strategic tradeoffs, risks, and outcomes with confidence and clarity.
  • Establish templates and standards for portfolio reporting, reviews, and executive updates.
  • Find and address delivery, operational, and technical risks across the portfolio.
  • Lead incident insights, execution retrospectives, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Guide disciplined change management and release planning for infrastructure platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise controls, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead senior delivery leaders, program managers, and execution teams.
  • Be a trusted advisor to executive partners, providing clear insights into delivery health, tradeoffs, and outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Influence across federated technology and business teams.
