About The Position

We are sharing a specialised remote consulting opportunity for experienced management consultants based in the United States, with strong expertise in executive-level business reporting, structured problem-solving, strategic insight development, and high-quality recommendation synthesis. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on business report quality, strategic insight evaluation, executive communication standards, analytical reasoning review, and decision-ready recommendation development. Selected professionals may help define what excellent business reporting looks like, create high-quality reports addressing complex business questions, and evaluate research and reporting workflows for clarity, rigor, logic, and executive readiness.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience at McKinsey, Bain, BCG, L.E.K., Oliver Wyman, Strategy&, Kearney, EY-Parthenon, Roland Berger, or a comparable strategy consulting firm
  • Experience producing executive-facing presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations
  • Strong analytical problem-solving, structured thinking, and business judgment
  • Experience synthesising qualitative and quantitative research into clear recommendations
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to explain evaluation decisions clearly
  • Availability to commit approximately 40 hours during the first week and approximately 15 hours per week thereafter
  • Current location in the United States
  • A degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Strategy, Management, Engineering, Statistics, Public Policy, or a related analytical field is helpful
  • MBA, advanced degree, or equivalent strategy consulting experience is especially relevant
  • Equivalent professional experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or executive advisory work is also highly relevant

  • Experience presenting recommendations directly to senior executives
  • Experience evaluating analytical work products, mentoring junior consultants, or reviewing consultant deliverables

  • Strong familiarity with consulting-style storylining, pyramid principle, issue trees, executive presentations, and recommendation development

Responsibilities

  • Define standards for high-quality business reports and executive communications
  • Establish best practices for argument structure, evidence hierarchy, storytelling, and recommendation development
  • Help create evaluation rubrics that distinguish exceptional, average, and poor-quality business outputs
  • Contribute expert consulting judgment on what makes a report clear, credible, actionable, and executive-ready
  • Analyse complex business questions and translate them into structured reporting approaches
  • Synthesise multiple sources of information into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Produce decision-ready reports comparable to strategy consulting deliverables presented to executive leadership
  • Ensure reports demonstrate strong logic, clear evidence use, crisp storyline, and practical strategic value
  • Review research and reporting workflows for consistency of reasoning, recommendation strength, and analytical quality
  • Evaluate outputs across accuracy of analysis, quality of conclusions, appropriateness of confidence assessments, and executive readiness
  • Assess whether recommendations are well-supported, strategically relevant, and clearly communicated
  • Provide detailed feedback, scoring rationale, and quality guidance for improvement
  • Evaluate whether business insights are structured clearly for senior executives and strategic decision-makers
  • Review the strength of storylines, evidence hierarchy, slide logic, and recommendation framing
  • Assess whether conclusions are actionable, commercially relevant, and appropriately supported by qualitative and quantitative evidence
  • Help ensure final deliverables meet professional strategy consulting standards
