About The Position

This role is a full-time associate position within the Strategy Consulting organization at Capital One, designed to develop highly sought-after problem solving and executive influence skills and to foster the next generation of strategic leaders for Capital One. Associates work on small, 4-8 person teams supporting senior leaders across Capital One on critical issues for our business, with projects and teams rotating every four months. Strategy Consulting associates will have the opportunity to rotate into another line of business for one project cycle to experience another role / team in their second or third year. Associates who join the Strategy Consulting team will participate in Capital One's larger Analyst Development Program, which provides additional opportunities for professional development and interaction with associates from diverse backgrounds across the enterprise. This role requires that you are located in the continental United States with in-person attendance at your assigned location, in accordance with Capital One’s hybrid working model. Requirements

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor’s degree or higher with an expectation that you will complete your most recent full-time degree program by August 2027 or earlier.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively on small project teams, taking on company-defining strategic issues and directly partnering with the company’s CEO, senior executives, and their teams.
  • Work alongside experienced consultants who are invested in you, and receive hands-on coaching and feedback to rapidly grow your skills.
  • Develop a deep understanding of technology, the financial services industry, and a variety of business functions by owning and driving critical workstreams on projects that last ~4 months.
  • Advance critical thinking, problem solving, communication, influence, and leadership skills in a fast-paced, collaborative, and inclusive environment dedicated to professional development and growth.
  • Leverage the expertise of team members from a variety of professional backgrounds, including management consulting, financial services, entrepreneurship, and more.
  • Rotate to another division within Capital One during your first two or three years, getting exposure to a new area of interest (e.g., new product development, credit decisioning, integration planning), a skill you are looking to craft (e.g., digital marketing, product management, analytics, finance) or a personal passion of yours (e.g., driving work in our community impact & investment organization).
