About The Position

Product Strategy and Operations members work with teams across Google to bring together a cohesive set of data, insights, and deliverables for senior leaders. Our team pushes Google to think strategically and execute efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines. Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry), operations (e.g. running the reporting cadence for organizations), and communications. Our team partners with executive leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high-impact projects. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience with data analysis and creating presentations or briefings.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with business strategy or product strategy, and experience driving insights and process excellence.
  • Familiarity with the ever-changing ecosystem of AI models.
  • Ability to influence existing perspectives or advance alternate ideas to gather consensus and commitment from teams, peers, stakeholders or decision-makers using data and appropriate communication or storytelling methods.
  • Effective leadership skills with demonstrated ability to self-drive impact in a fast-paced environment, while operating with discretion.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage and drive workstreams to provide business critical insights across the entire external tech ecosystem from small startups to large public companies.
  • Work collaboratively with a fast-paced small team to analyze some of the most important themes, financials, metrics, etc. and thoughtfully elevate them to senior stakeholders with discretion.
  • Build executive presentations and drive forward ad hoc special projects.
