About The Position

The Respect Equity Diversity and Inclusion Office is seeking a proactive Strategy and Impact Specialist to lead the development, governance and evaluation of our Respect, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (REDI) initiatives. Working autonomously under broad direction, you will champion a university-wide, person-centered approach to equity, diversity, and gender-based violence prevention across the Monash Group. In this role, you will bridge strategic vision and operational delivery.

Requirements

• Postgraduate qualifications (or equivalent extensive experience)
• Substantial subject-matter expertise in REDI and gender-based violence prevention
• Strong track record in evaluating social change programs
• Robust project management skills
• Exceptional analytical abilities
• Influential communicator
• Ability to excel at negotiating with diverse stakeholders across senior leadership, staff, and students to deliver meaningful outcomes

Responsibilities

• Providing expert advice on REDI strategies and regulatory compliance
• Managing strategic and community-led projects
• Analysing data to produce high-level reports for executive decision-making
• Building strong cross-institutional partnerships
• Driving continuous process improvements
• Directly supervising the Strategy and Impact Officer
