About The Position

As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe. As a defense mission professional, you’ll bring your analytical expertise to work on projects for Headquarters Marine Corps, Deputy Commandant for Information, Plans and Strategy Division. You’ll lead doctrine and concept development, draft strategic documents, review higher level policy, and coordinate staff actions to advance the Marine Corps understanding of information and the information environment. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with strategy or doctrine development
Experience writing policy, doctrine, or strategic level documents
Experience leading planning teams to solve complex problems
Experience with the Marine Corps Planning Process or Joint Planning Process
Knowledge of information warfare and associated elements of it
Ability to translate complex ideas into understandable written descriptions for broad audiences to ingest
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

Experience with Headquarters Marine Corps
Ability to display published articles or reports
Possession of excellent verbal and written executive communication skills
Master's degree
