About The Position

Join us as Strategy and Analytics Associate Manager, Wellbeing Collective. Unilever is a business that makes a real impact on the world, with 3.4 billion people in over 190 countries using our products every day. We are driven by our purpose: to make sustainable living commonplace. At the heart of what we do is our people – we believe that when our people work with purpose, we will create a better business and a better world. We are the Global Wellbeing team focused on one of Unilever’s largest growth opportunities – the €140bn Wellbeing space defined by Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (VMS). Unilever’s Wellbeing Collective Group (WBC) holds the company’s health and wellness brands and the portfolio of brands that includes Liquid IV, Nutrafol, Olly, SmartyPants, Onnit, and Grüns. We work in an agile, fast-moving environment, collaboratively within the team and with our Unilever colleagues around the world. We work in a project-based, networked way where everyone needs to be able to take a step back and think strategically, as well as roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty, to be entrepreneurial and experiment, as well as bring in the best of Unilever and work the structures of a large company, and to take charge and lead, as well as follow and support others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Marketing, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 3–6 years of experience in strategy, consulting, general management, or relevant roles within consumer goods or high-growth categories.
  • Structured problem solver who breaks down ambiguous problems into clear, insight-led recommendations, with strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Advanced application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Think-cell, project management) and strong expertise in consumer data tools (Circana, Stackline, Numerator, Euromonitor) and AI tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT).
  • Proven cross-functional leadership — driving alignment across diverse stakeholders and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong judgment and ownership.

  • Collaborative team player with maturity, discretion, and adaptability for sensitive strategic work, and an externally oriented, curious mindset toward emerging consumer and competitive developments.

Responsibilities

  • Translate data into decision-ready insights — synthesize consumer, category, competitor, and macro-trend data into clear "so-what" implications that pressure-test the Wellbeing strategy.
  • Build the analytical backbone for category strategy, portfolio choices, and M&A thesis work — market sizing, share/penetration, white-space, growth drivers, consumer segmentation, early signal detection, and leading indicator tracking
  • Help build and scale a repeatable growth intelligence capability – mapping priority data sources, defining “metrics that matter”, pressure-testing early signals, and translating emerging insights into actionable brand, category, innovation, and M&A workstreams.
  • Run structured problem solving on defined modules of strategic initiatives (e.g., category deep-dives, competitor teardowns, target screens), owning workplan, analysis, and first-draft recommendation.
  • Develop board- and C-suite-ready materials — turning raw analysis into crisp slides, narratives, and one-pagers that equip senior executives for critical engagements.
  • Be the team's data whiz and CMI partner — fluently using Circana, Stackline, Numerator Panel, Euromonitor, social listening, and primary research (qual + quant) to bring the consumer voice into every question.
  • Pioneer trend and foresight inputs (GLP-1, science-backed claims, omnichannel discovery, AI-enabled routines, etc.) into a forward-looking view the team can act on, including M&A target screening, brand/category assessments, and competitive benchmarks across the M&A funnel.
  • Run the PMO for strategic projects — M&A due diligence and AOP — owning master workplan & calendar, weekly cross-functional connects, status reporting, milestone tracking, and senior-stakeholder decks.
