We are seeking a hardworking and experienced Strategy Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Strategy Associate you will play a role in crafting our company's strategic direction and informing key decisions. You will demonstrate your analytical skills to provide insights and contribute to our vision. The role involves proactive data analysis, report preparation and presentation to senior leadership, and participation in strategic projects. From highly defined projects, to open ended, ambiguous ones, this role requires problem solving skills that can accommodate either scenario.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, math, economics, or another analytical field.
• 3+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, business operations, or similar experience applying analytical reasoning to solve complex business questions
• Advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Experience with basic project management tools and methodologies
• Proficient, and responsible in AI support tool use
• A persevering mindset and strong “one company” teammate.
• Thrive in an ambiguous, entrepreneurial environment, and adept at working from a clean sheet without legacy constraints or pre-defined process.
• An ability to lead fast-paced projects from inception to deployment, providing structure and achievement monitoring for all stakeholders (who are likely to be from different cultures and in different time zones).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SQL, Python, or R is a plus
• Proficient in creating data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Tableau or similar BI solutions is preferred.
• Familiarity and / or strong enthusiasm with the electric vehicle industry and sustainable transportation trends is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights for Slate to make informed strategic decisions within the organization
• Leading and collaborating on strategic projects from inception to implementation. This could include projects such as analyzing the EV charging landscape, evaluating various go-to-market scenarios, future product planning, modelling profitability scenarios, market sizing and project management of partner onboarding
• Composing written and oral presentations for senior management on topics vital to our strategy, vision, and go-to-market plan
• Support market diligence as inputs to fundraising rounds, and board level materials
• Delivering ad hoc analyses and reports, including rapid turnaround timelines
• Cross functional support ranging from various teams: Executive level, Accessories, Sales, Service, Corporate Development, Sales Operations, Financial services
• Supporting Commercial business operations, including milestone reporting, scorecard tracking, and general project management
• Work closely with an experienced team lead, former consultant, on a week-to-week basis
