About The Position

The Planning Analyst primarily supports the analytical needs of the Strategic Planning and Business Development Department. As a super user of internal and external data tools, the analyst generates reports such as market analyses, provider-related reports, and internal utilization reports. The position supports the BHC Service Line structure, provider development plan, strategic planning process, and other key departmental initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Finance, Health Care, Marketing, or a related field, or four years of related experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
A minimum of one year of experience in data analytics within business development, marketing, strategic planning, health care operations, or related work.

Responsibilities

Use data tools and resources to develop market and competitive analyses that inform strategic business decisions.
Work with internal stakeholders to provide accurate information in accordance with data integrity standards.
Identify data sources and data elements needed for performance analyses in consultation with leadership.
Assist with managing and coordinating project deliverables and data reporting.
Maintain data infrastructure for selected external and internal data resources.
Produce market and service line analyses to support the organizational cadence of market performance reviews.
Assist with organizational and leader performance tracking managed by the division.
Work with physician recruitment and physician enterprise management to track internal and external changes in the provider landscape.
Maintain responsibility for utilization reporting to state agencies and national organizations as directed by leadership.
Support organizational project management activities managed by the division.
