Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years previous media planning experience, with multiple media channels preferred.
  • Strong understanding of media math, terminology, and analytical tools (MRI, Nielsen).
  • Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to discuss their application in media planning.
  • Prior experience working on a dynamic fast-paced entertainment brand.
  • Client relationship management experience.
  • Experience developing and presenting plan presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Strategist and Supervisor across client deliverables using understanding of media planning process.
  • Create, format, and update flowcharts, plan sheets, planning cost worksheets, and client trackers accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate on the development of POVs for new media opportunities.
  • Utilize consumer research tools (YouGov, MRI, eMarketer Cadence) to identify trends and insights for plan recommendations.
  • Strengthen understanding of media strategy and applications.
  • Ensure flawless execution and attention to detail across all deliverables.
  • Prepare and distribute traffic instructions, track deadlines with the Traffic team, and respond to inquiries.
  • Oversee billing and budget maintenance, working with budget analysts when applicable.
  • Organize team documents and maintain timelines to meet client deadlines.
  • Contribute to frameworks and templates for presentation decks, team projects, and monthly recaps.
  • Build and foster open communication with clients and media partners, serving as a key HMI contact.
  • Collaborate with Senior Strategist and Supervisor to identify problems and recommend solutions.
  • Keep Senior Strategist and Supervisor updated on deliverable status and timing.
  • Engage and interact effectively with other Horizon departments (Investment, Traffic, Operations).
  • Apply knowledge of clients' businesses and industries to enhance relationships.
  • Form close relationships with other Strategists, working across pods to support the team.
  • Collaborate with Strategist colleagues in skill development for team support.
  • Contribute to future performance reviews of Assistant Strategist, identifying strengths and growth areas.
  • Participate in the interview process for future Assistant Strategist positions.
