About The Position

The Strategic Technology Alliances Director is responsible for developing and executing a joint strategic vision between Qlik and their tech partners that accelerates revenue growth and strengthens the partnership. This individual will work cross‑functionally to define and communicate the joint value proposition, influence partner and sales leadership, and increase field awareness to support co‑selling initiatives. Collaborate with the Qlik field, the partner field and channels to enable, drive joint opportunities to expand mutual adoption and ultimately customer success Coordinate with partners to create and execute regional business plans to meet sales goals Evangelize and educate partners about Qlik’s complimentary value proposition Develop positive working relationship with partners Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows and other promotional activities. Track and report on referred and influenced business opportunities with the partners

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)
  • Five or more years of experience in Technology Alliances or an ISV partner sales position
  • Strong and proven sales/partner sales execution skills
  • Excellent communication, listening, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Ability to navigate highly matrixed organizations to facilitate execution
  • Ability to move fast, multi-task and drive results, while being self-sufficient.
  • An outgoing, personable and organized person with a strong will to succeed.
  • Ability to prioritize activities.
  • A self-starter; experience and capability to work independently within a matrixed organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a Data Integration or BI/Analytics software company is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Build and drive a unified alliance strategy that deepens collaboration between Qlik and designated partners.
  • Building out and managing co-build activities alongside Product/Tech teams, Qlik Partner Engineering team, and respective technical teams at named partners
  • Influencing and building co-marketing strategies
  • Building joint GTM and co-selling with partner sales teams
  • Develop, articulate, and promote the joint value proposition to partners, sales teams, and leadership across both organizations.
  • Strengthen field engagement and support co‑selling motions with partner sales teams.
  • Lead the design and execution of partner enablement and engagement programs that increase partner preference for Qlik.
  • Drive joint marketing, demand‑generation initiatives, and coordinated co‑sales activities.
  • Collaborate closely with regional sales and marketing teams, GSI leaders, and channel alliance managers to ensure alignment and execution.
