The State & Local Tax team is expanding, focusing on helping clients avoid overpaying sales taxes, assisting with strategic planning, and managing sales tax obligations. This role involves providing sales tax advisory services and requires strong Excel data manipulation skills. The company is seeking a deadline-driven, administrative professional with a passion for client service.

Requirements

• Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting
• Ability to work overtime during peak seasons
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Passion for providing the highest level of service to clients
• Superior multi-tasking and organizational skills
• High attention to detail
• Stellar interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
• Proficiency with Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Work directly with tax professionals on a wide variety of projects, including data entry in Excel, copying client records, organizing data files, completing forms, sending and managing receipt of correspondence with State tax agencies, and various other client-related administrative tasks
• Gather, manipulate, and analyze data
• Participate in research of state tax statues, regulations, and rulings
• Thoroughly verify work for completeness and accuracy
• Interact with clients via on-site meetings, video calls, and project status reports
