About The Position

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Strategic Supply Chain & Planning Manager to join our Canadian team. As a Strategic Supply Chain & Planning Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy in order to maximize efficiency and productivity within Canada.

Requirements

  • University Degree or College Diploma in a related field (Such as: Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business Administration) with a minimum of five (5) years working experience in Supply Chain in a leadership capacity
  • Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft office suite including Outlook, Excel and Word

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Lead national supply chain execution by driving best practices across purchasing, planning, and inventory management while ensuring consistent, standardized processes.
  • Optimize performance and cost control by monitoring KPIs (inventory, demurrage, productivity), identifying gaps, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce avoidable costs and working capital risk.
  • Direct and coordinate national supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability improvement, and KPI management to drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize, new and existing operations/processes.
  • Enhance S&OP and planning discipline by aligning demand and supply strategies to reduce forecasting error and optimize inventory levels.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment by partnering closely with Customer Service, Trade, Transportation, Sales, and Operations to improve service delivery and customer outcomes.
  • Lead the PowerUser network by improving UAT testing quality and completeness across Canadian operations, ensuring strong alignment between system capabilities and business requirements.
  • Drive adoption and operational stability by reducing post-go-live defects, enhancing end-user confidence, and strengthening cross-functional collaboration and accountability.
  • Undertake other duties as required
