About The Position

Emerson’s MBA Leadership Program is a four-year, two-rotation experience designed to develop the next generation of senior leaders. This role is for high-potential MBA candidates to start the program as a Strategic Supply Chain Analyst, a unique opportunity to shape the future of Emerson’s business strategy while accelerating your career. As a Strategic Supply Chain Analyst, you will initiate and carry out a range of recurring and project-based assignments for Emerson leadership, including the Chief Operating Officer. Rotation 1 will be at Emerson’s global headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, joining the Corporate Supply Chain team to contribute to high-visibility projects supporting long-term growth and transformation. Participants will engage in leadership development programs, executive mentorship, and networking opportunities. Rotation 2 will involve identifying a role within one of Emerson’s business units that aligns with the candidate's skills, aspirations, and interests, continuing development by leading initiatives that align with business goals, drive operational excellence, and support Emerson’s global supply chain strategy.

Requirements

• Completion of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree prior to the first day of employment.
• One to three years of relevant professional experience.

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-designated field. Preferred STEM fields include, but are not limited to, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Controls Engineering, Computer Science, and other closely related technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and execute strategic supply chain projects for Emerson leadership, including the COO
• Lead and support initiatives focused on digital transformation, Industrial IoT, and operational modernization
• Analyze global supply chain trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decisions
• Identify and evaluate sourcing strategies, supplier partnerships, and network optimization opportunities
• Support the strategic planning process through prioritization, communication, implementation, and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution of supply chain strategies
