About The Position

The Strategic Sourcing Support Associate serves as a key support partner to clinics, helping ensure smooth day-to-day ordering operations, vendor coordination, and effective use of our ordering platform. In this role, you will work directly with clinics as your primary “customer,” supporting them with ordering-related issues, system adoption, and procurement processes. You will also collaborate closely with Regional Managers, vendors, and internal Strategic Sourcing stakeholders to improve ordering efficiency, resolve operational challenges, and strengthen overall system adoption across the network. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple clinical needs in a fast-paced environment. You will also contribute to broader sourcing initiatives aimed at improving consistency, reducing non-formulary spend, and enhancing the overall procurement experience across clinics.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in procurement support, operations, healthcare administration, or a multi-site environment
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer service mindset
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and process-oriented thinking
  • Comfortable learning and working in multiple systems and tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis functions such as pivot tables and lookups.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with ordering systems or procurement platforms (Dentira or similar) is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for clinics, providing timely support for ordering, vendor coordination, and Dentira-related inquiries
  • Support clinics with day-to-day ordering needs and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist clinics with adoption and usage of Dentira through training, guidance, and ongoing support
  • Monitor non-formulary requests and recurring ordering issues to identify root causes and support solutions that improve compliance and reduce repeat issues
  • Partner with Regional Managers and internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support vendor coordination, including backorders, pricing discrepancies, and issue resolution
  • Assist with procurement needs for clinical education events and related supply coordination
  • Support clinics with direct ordering from U.S. vendors through CARM, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Help maintain accuracy in the Dentira invoice module, resolving pricing and vendor discrepancies
  • Support equipment ordering requests, tracking, and issue resolution with suppliers
  • Work with groups of clinics to improve KPIs such as ordering compliance, formulary alignment, and system adoption.
