About The Position

West Shore Home is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Specialist – Indirect to join its Supply Chain team. This onsite, strategic and analytical role partners with departments across the organization to identify sourcing opportunities, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and develop strategies that improve cost efficiency and operational performance. The position focuses on supplier relationships, financial analysis, negotiation, and delivering measurable business value. The role is based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Travel of up to 15% annually is expected. Requirements

At least 5 years of relevant strategic sourcing experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated experience leading sourcing initiatives from strategy through implementation.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate financial data, pricing, and cost-saving opportunities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
Financial orientation and the ability to connect sourcing strategies and initiatives to measurable business value.
High degree of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
Willingness to travel up to 15% annually.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across indirect spend categories to support company-wide business objectives.
Identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities through market research, spend analysis, and supplier evaluations.
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop sourcing strategies.
Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers based on capabilities, pricing, and overall value.
Lead sourcing projects from initial research and strategy development through RFPs, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier negotiations and ongoing vendor relationships.
Analyze pricing, contract terms, and supplier proposals to recommend cost-effective solutions.
Manage supplier contracts and monitor performance to ensure contractual obligations are met.
Develop supplier scorecards and track key performance indicators to evaluate vendor performance.
Maintain sourcing metrics, savings pipelines, and reporting to support business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve sourcing processes and overall efficiency.
