About The Position

A Strategic Sourcing Specialist conducts research, sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and candidate engagement. The role focuses on attracting qualified and diverse candidates using cost-effective recruitment strategies, building candidate and industry networks, screening applicants, maintaining candidate tracking systems, and proactively sourcing talent in collaboration with managers and other departments. The specialist uses online portals, social networking sites, job boards, and other sourcing channels, and measures and reports sourcing metrics in real time. The position is offered as an independent contractor role with permanent work from home. A monthly rate of up to $850 USD is stated. The posting also lists free training, paid time offs, HMO coverage, optical rewards, and performance-based increases. The role requires a primary computer, headset, camera, and internet connection meeting the stated minimum system requirements. Requirements

2–3 years of proven work experience as a Sourcing Specialist or in a similar role.
Extensive experience using different channels, social networking sites, online portals, and resume databases to source potential candidates.
Hands-on experience using talent acquisition tools, applications, and systems.
Familiarity with creating sourcing plans and implementing strategies to improve candidate searches.
Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Hands-on experience with selection processes such as video interviewing, phone interviewing, and reference checks is listed as preferred but not required.
Minimum primary computer: Intel Core i5-6000 (6th Gen or higher) or AMD Ryzen 5 or higher; 8 GB RAM; Windows 11 64-bit or macOS Ventura at minimum.
Minimum headset: USB-type headset with noise-cancelling feature.
Minimum camera: capable of clear and crisp video output.
Minimum primary internet connection: DSL/fiber with at least 100 Mb/s contracted speed.
Minimum backup internet connection: at least 20 Mb/s via cellular connection.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a healthcare or medical-related field (preferred but not required).
Hands-on experience with selection processes such as video interviewing, phone interviewing, and reference checks (preferred but not required).
Recommended primary and backup computer: Intel Core i7, i9, Core Ultra, or AMD Ryzen 7 or higher; 16 GB RAM; Windows 11 64-bit or macOS Tahoe at minimum.
Recommended camera capable of clear and crisp video output for the backup system.
Recommended primary internet connection: DSL/fiber with at least 500 Mb/s contracted speed.
Recommended backup internet connection: at least 20 Mb/s via cellular or wired connection.
Backup system option: computer meeting the listed minimum or recommended system specifications, as applicable.
Power supply (UPS) option capable of powering the workstation for at least 3 hours; typically 240 Wh or higher, with plugs for the devices and work environment.

Responsibilities

Implement and use cost-effective recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified and diverse candidates.
Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals.
Prescreen and paper-screen candidates by reviewing resumes and conducting phone screenings.
Create tracking systems for candidates and maintain an internal candidate database.
Collaborate with managers and possibly other departments to identify future talent needs and proactively source potential virtual professional candidates.
Use online portals, social networking sites, and other channels to source and connect with potential candidates.
Manage job boards and job postings.
Measure and report sourcing metrics on a real-time basis.
