Strategic Sourcing Project Manager

Nordic Investin Group•Stockholm, ME

About The Position

Nordic Investin is recruiting a Strategic Sourcing Project Manager on behalf of one of our partner companies. The partner is strengthening its capability in strategic sourcing programmes from category insight to supplier transition. You will take responsibility for work that connects category analysis, tendering and negotiation, while ensuring that due diligence and implementation receive appropriate discipline. The objective is progress that colleagues can use and leaders can evaluate. Project leadership connects outcomes, plans, risks and decisions. Success is controlled change that the organisation can adopt and sustain. You will create a practical delivery rhythm across workstreams with different owners and incentives. The partner expects concise preparation, explicit dependencies and decisions recorded clearly enough to survive handovers. Escalation should bring options and consequences, not only a problem statement. This role calls for independent judgement and the ability to raise the quality around you. You will be expected to recognise when a decision needs wider expertise, make trade-offs visible and move work forward without creating unnecessary process.

  • Practical experience applying negotiation and due diligence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience from industry, professional services or public procurement.
  • Exposure to benefits tracking in a cross-functional environment.
  • Swedish language skills or experience working across Nordic organisations.
  • Your background may be consulting, a transformation office or complex operational delivery. Show how you controlled uncertainty and guided difficult decisions. Direct experience of strategic sourcing programmes from category insight to supplier transition is valuable, while adjacent experience counts when it shows transferable judgement.

  • Establish useful standards, routines or artefacts around negotiation.
