About The Position

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) for the Marketing, IT, and People Categories to enhance Ericsson’s competitive edge by optimizing supplier value, proactively managing business risks, and contributing to customer value creation and growth for Business Area Enterprise Wireless Solutions (“BEWS”). The SSM will be responsible for evaluating, qualifying, and selecting service providers and suppliers in these categories for solution rollouts and projects. The SSM will also oversee commercial supplier relationships.

Requirements

  • Academic Degree or equivalent qualification within Supply Chain / Information Systems / Logistics
  • Ericsson Company experience including sourcing experience of 5+ years.
  • Commercial acumen and skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Understanding of team strategies and objectives.
  • Motivation to learn and continuously improve processes.
  • People skills to work effectively with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Analytics-driven engagement and Business Modelling Skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in contract drafting and related legal matters.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial relationships within the Marketing, IT, and People Categories in BEWS, and potentially other markets.
  • Join a global team of highly effective Category Sourcing professionals.
  • Manage supplier and stakeholder relationships in BEWS, driving business contributions and performance, and managing risks through commercial agreements.
  • Lead, prepare, and execute the RFx process for purchasing within the Marketing, IT, and People Categories to secure the best commercial conditions and quality.
  • Evaluate and award suppliers by adhering to sourcing processes.
  • Address all inquiries and activities related to the supplier base within your geographic responsibility.
  • Engage and motivate stakeholders, peers, and colleagues, fostering new service models and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with a best-in-class local and global team while closely interacting with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Influence and drive exciting, challenging global programs and projects.
  • Remove barriers and tackle complex situations concerning our supply chain.
