About The Position

The Strategic Sourcing Manager develops and executes enterprise category strategies for critical electrical and electronic components supporting Mission Critical Group product platforms, including low- and medium-voltage switchgear and switchboards, e-houses, skids, power-generation control packages, transformer-related products, and other engineered power solutions. The role translates enterprise demand into sourcing, capacity, channel, alternate-source, and supply-continuity strategies to improve supplier performance, reduce total cost, and mitigate long-lead, allocation, obsolescence, and supply risks. This is a high-impact individual contributor position with the authority, visibility, and executive presence expected of a senior sourcing leader. The position owns more than $100 million in direct material spend and serves as MCG's commercial leader and subject-matter expert for assigned categories. It provides indirect leadership to COE sourcing and purchasing professionals while COE teams retain transactional purchasing responsibility. The role primarily works remotely in an office setting, with periodic visits to MCG manufacturing locations and supplier facilities.
