Requirements

Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sourcing, or a related field
Enrolled and eligible for a 8 month Co-op program starting in the Fall 2026 work term.
General understanding of sourcing, category knowledge & supplier management experience.
Organized and has skills to multi-task several projects with several team members.
Self-starter, high initiative, persistent and curious.
Possesses strong initiative to understand a problem and work independently to solve it.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications and strong with excel.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Previous work experience in a supply chain or operations environment preferred.
Database skills and ERP experience is a plus.
English, basic French Language a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Identifying suppliers and developing strategic relationships for Capital Equipment and MRO.
Understanding market conditions and effectively communicating trends/forecasts to stakeholders.
Supporting the RFP, RFQ, RFA and negotiation processes - with a focus on creating value.
Working in conjunction with Legal and stakeholders to negotiate contract terms and conditions.
Collaborating with stakeholders to effectively manage the supplier portfolio.
Developing/executing category strategies, vendor pool and sourcing plan.
Managing supplier performance. Developing and monitoring KPIs for key suppliers.
Ensuring contract commitments are met and entered in ERP system.
