Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sourcing, or a related field
  • Enrolled and eligible for a 8 month Co-op program starting in the Fall 2026 work term.
  • General understanding of sourcing, category knowledge & supplier management experience.
  • Organized and has skills to multi-task several projects with several team members.
  • Self-starter, high initiative, persistent and curious.
  • Possesses strong initiative to understand a problem and work independently to solve it.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications and strong with excel.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work experience in a supply chain or operations environment preferred.
  • Database skills and ERP experience is a plus.
  • English, basic French Language a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying suppliers and developing strategic relationships for Capital Equipment and MRO.
  • Understanding market conditions and effectively communicating trends/forecasts to stakeholders.
  • Supporting the RFP, RFQ, RFA and negotiation processes - with a focus on creating value.
  • Working in conjunction with Legal and stakeholders to negotiate contract terms and conditions.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to effectively manage the supplier portfolio.
  • Developing/executing category strategies, vendor pool and sourcing plan.
  • Managing supplier performance. Developing and monitoring KPIs for key suppliers.
  • Ensuring contract commitments are met and entered in ERP system.
