About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist to join their Indirect Supply Chain organization, focusing on sourcing and contracting firms to support Boeing’s Corporate Services. This individual contributor role involves partnering with enterprise team members and industry leaders to execute supplier activities such as long-term agreements, strategic awards, and corporate initiatives. The team manages the entire procurement lifecycle, from issuing RFPs and price analysis to negotiation, contract award, and management. The ideal candidate will have a background in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing within Corporate Services categories, possessing strong business acumen, project management skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities. This is a dynamic environment with opportunities to work on exciting sourcing and contract management initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain processes
  • 3+ years of experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations
  • 3+ years of experience with project management and the ability to self-manage projects
  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners)
  • Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions
  • Experience in program management
  • Experience using SAP

Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain stakeholder and supplier relationships
  • Facilitate dialogue to refine business requirements and support category strategy development
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and market offerings for informed sourcing decisions
  • Develop and negotiate long-term agreements and strategic contracts that satisfy customer needs
  • Oversee stakeholder engagement and contract lifecycle management for compliance and performance
  • Recommend and implement supply chain process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and develop strategic implementation plans
