About The Position

Responsible for securing 3rd party vendors for various commodities and/or services to support our global clinical trials and the overall corporate business objectives. You will be generating and implementing sourcing and category management strategies for a specific group or category of products and/or services. You will use the end-to-end procurement/sourcing process and be responsible for the overall management of assigned commodities. Identify and maintain vendor relationships that provide high quality products and services at the best value while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.

Requirements

BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years in a Pharmaceutical /CRO industry required.
Proficiency in MS Office required.
Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to interface appropriately with all levels of the organization across the global footprint.
Solid communication and people skills.
An analytical mind with strategic ability.
Understanding of data analysis.
Strong presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

2-5 years Sourcing/Category management experience or similar role preferred.
Strong project management and leadership skills.
Knowledge and/or management of clinical services in clinical trials is a plus.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain business relationships with selected third-party vendors that would support the Worldwide Clinical Trials organization globally.
Analyze data and market research to determine trends.
Develop and implement sourcing and category management strategies for assigned categories.
Liaise with internal stakeholders for business needs.
Support and build Preferred Provider relationships through strategic sourcing processes.
Development of RF(x) for commodity sourced (if applicable).
